The Virts Presents the Launch Edition Virtuoso Playing Cards
The Virtuoso deck's back design is sculpted by the principles of movement and aesthetics. We broke down countless card flourishes into their core movements and forms, and crafted a design based on those patterns. The result? A back design that enhances any card flourish you do, swirling, strobing, connectings and isolating based on your movements and displays.
100% Custom Deck
Instead of taking the standard route of putting back design on one side of the box and the title on the other, we gave the tuck case a unique wraparound design inspired by the cards themselves. It's simpler, subtler, yet more distinguishable. Even the ace of spades was a result of inevitable design.
The ace was created by tracing out the intersecting lines of our back design, resulting in one of the most iconic Ace of Spades on a custom deck.
The faces of the Virtuoso deck were illustrated by one of Singapore's top illustrators, Morby Lin. A closer look also reveals that the faces weren't created with curves, but many straight lines to stay congruent with the back design.
Every suit was given its own design theme, with modern takes on the classic design. The King, Queen and Jack of every kingdom also receive their very own emblem, giving royalty what it deserves.
A Quality Finish
The Virtuoso deck fans with amazing control, splits into clean packets when cutting, and packets stay together when flying through the air. It is also just the right thickness, so you have really comfortable control, all while maintaining a satisfying resistance for cuts and long springs. The cards also have that awesome "snap" that card flourishers love, and that gives you spectacular air time when shooting cards through the air.
